🪵 Fire pit

Lighting and safely shutting off the propane fire pit on the lower deck.

The fire pit on the lower deck runs on propane, so there’s no wood to haul and no ash to clean up.

To light it

To fill in: exact steps. For example: open the propane tank valve under the pit, turn the control knob to “light,” press the igniter until it catches, then adjust the flame. Where’s the tank? Is there a spare?

To shut it off

1. Turn the control knob to off.
2. Close the valve on the propane tank.
3. Let it cool before covering it.

Please

• Never leave the fire pit burning unattended, and shut it off before bed.
• Keep it clear of the furniture cushions and the deck railing.
• Don’t cook on it or throw anything into it.
• If it runs out of propane, message us and we’ll get a refill.
